Happy Day Restaurants opened the doors of its 1st restaurant in 1969. Lewiston Taco Time would be the foundation store for our company over the next 38 years. Since that time Happy Day Restaurants has opened 3 additional Taco Times, 4 Arbys, 2 A&Ws and 4 independent dinner houses: Tomato Brothers, Zany’s Hollywood Grill, Main Street Grill, and Southway Pizzaria and Deli.

How does Happy Day Catering fit into this family of Restaurants? Beginning in the early 90s community inquiries for large group catering began to come in. Over the years we have operated our catering business out of the kitchens of Zany’s and Tomato Bros. In 2006 we added a catering kitchen to Tomato Bros only to find that we didn’t build it large enough for the growth ahead. In September of 2007 Happy Day Catering will move into its own 6000 square foot facility, large enough to accommodate the growth for decades to follow.
